Awww crap - grandpa isn't doing so well

I guess I'm getting that age (35).

Year after year there is a beloved relative that is going downhill. I've come to accept it and do the best I can as the oldest grandchild and take care of the family and assist my aunts/uncles. It's like a passing of the torch really. That's what the cycle is. You never really see it until you go through it.

Thanks for listening OT. Love your parents, love your family and love your friends.

My grandfather has survived 2 very deadly forms of cancer and they just found malignant cells in his lungs. So yeah...

Hope he gets better.

Now to relax the mood, I'm gonna need to see 2 forms of identification, and neither can be a passport. 😉

It's just one of those things. When the family sends out an all points bulletin - we act. The phones are ringing off the hook.

He's going downhill mentally (and has been for 10 years now), and the call has to be made as to if he can take care of himself or not. I won't go into details, but the police and tazers were involved to remove the shotgun that he had been firing.

tough call would be an understatement.
