Aww crap, broken cd

I was digging through my old cds today and found Xwing Alliance. Man I loved those Xwing games, so I pop it in. I noticed a small crack on the very outside of the cd, where there's no data, so I figured I'd give it a try. It spins for a second, the install dialouge comes up, and then I hear it. *crack, groan, crunchhhhh....* and open up the drive. Bits and flakes of CD fall out and I'm missing about 1/4 of the disk. I could send $5 to lucasarts to get a replacement, but its not worth the trouble when I could just get it for $10 at a store. CDs suck

CD's are still much better than Floppies. I found my old copy of Bard's Tale III, but the disks couldn't be read. It's understandable since must've been over 10 years old...
