I've read some stories about Amazon's AWS infrastructure, and they apparently get custom Xeon E5 processors that run at a higher clock speed than what is commercially available.
Has anyone here got a hold of one of these processors? If so, how much faster is it than a standard Xeon E5? Does it work in a retail motherboard? Did you try taking one home and seeing how fast it plays Grand Theft Auto 5 with GeForce 980?
