AWP scope/crosshair

Alright, i have two questions about the AWP. First off, i'd like to hear some recommendations for a good AWP scope. I heard they can make all the difference. Second, is there any way to use a crosshair with the AWP, as in, without having to zoom in?

yeah..i heard that their were hacks out their so you wouldnt have to zoom...not sure where though.

Yeah i wouldn't really consider that a cheat though. I mean, it only make sense for it to have a crosshair like every other weapon.

yeah....But it's an AWP....so its fair if a player is running around, AWP unzoomed(but still has a crosshair), and one shot, your dead

i dont think its fair, just my opinion

You obviously haven't been playing Counter-Strike for a while. Before 1.3 (maybe 1.1, I dunno), all the guns did have crosshairs. Then they took em off all the sniper weapons. They're too powerful to be running around unzoomed in the hands of a skilled player (or so the CS development team thought).

LoL. If you want it so bad, just point your gun at the wall and fire. Where it hits the wall, stick a really really tiny piece of putty to the screen. Instant crosshair.

While i doubt a sniper rifle unzoomed would ever make a real good upclose weapon, you can practice distance shooting (without zooming on empty maps) and gauge the angle of your gun with the actual placement of the shot. It won't give you pinpoint accuracy, but it can save you if you see a guy rushing and have no time to aim/zoom.

I actually played with a guy today that had a 90 to 1 kill ratio (thats right, 90:1), using a combination of wall hacks, aimbots, and possibly the awp crosshair as he was able to shoot unzoomed while on the move. Guys like this can be really hard to kill, and often times ruin the gaming experience for other players.

that's actually one of the reasons i stopped playing CS, so many cheaters out their(also, couldnt study b/c of CS, lost my social life,...um, where was i?) :Q

More frustrating is the guys who don't cheat and are just really good...cuz then, there's no way I can even whine

i wasnt whining, but some cheaters make it so blatantly obvious that their cheating.

example: i was playing De_Dust map, i was a terrorist, one of my teammates goes into the tunnel and crouches behind the box with his AK-47. i was standing off to the side but i could still see him crouching their. all of the sudden, he starts firing at the box, and in the top right hand corner where is tells you who killed who, he was racking up kills like crazy.

thought it was pretty funny actually

there is no point, for they (cs team) also made it very very innaccurate w/o using scope, same goes for scout, and that $5000 sniper rifle, the $4200 rifle is pretty good w/o scope.

Even if you do cheat, there is no point of a crosshair, the aimbot gets him for you (even if your jumping or on a ladder)

<< , and I had 17/0, anyways, I was kicking butt, and while I was playing, banned. I don't cheat, have NEVER cheated, and tehy juist assumed that because I wasn't dead by 17 kills, that I cheated. I hate people that accuse people of cheating, unless it visible that they cheat (i.e. wallhack)....on their intro screen, it said We won't use PunkBuster until it actually stops cheaters. Well, it could have at least a chance at stopping some people....

stupid people make me angry.
