Awful sore throat, remedies?

I've drank two cups of Bourbon-Tea-Honey drink (first with a dissolved cough drop in it, 2nd with a dissolved eucanacea pill in it), popped another ibuprofen, took a vitamin C pill, and the thing still friggin kills.
I've even tried gargling the tea drink.

best thing to do his heat some coke... outside the can ... yes coca cola and drink it like it should be somewhat warm but not like coffee hot

I usually gargle some water with salt in it. Relieves the pain for a good while. Also you can't go wrong with chloraseptic spray.

I got the same thing you have right now, but I had to come to work today Fortunantly my sore throat is startin to go away and now I just have a runny nose and am sneezing alot.
