i can't turn my comp on with my LCD plugged in alone, the CRT has to be plugged in as well. i think this is because the computer thinks the CRT is the primary monitor. i changed this in the video card properties and it didn't help.

edits: i can't even access the video card properties now that tried disabling the CRT
when i turn my PC on with ONLY the LCD plugged in (DVI) the computer won't even think about booting.
the option (CRT monitor "1") is grayed out because i unchecked "use this device as my primary monitor" and "extend my windows desktop"
my computer is custom built with an x800XL ATI card.
thanks!
