Mixed-gender dorm rooms are gaining acceptance
About 50 schools in the U.S., including a few Ivy League campuses and several in California, are allowing men and women to room together. Participation is still relatively low.

I believe my school has this too. Just started it ~2 years ago for all current students (I don't believe it is available to first year students).

It's good - let people live with whoever they want

One of my best buds in college, female, and I lived together for 2yrs during school. At the time I knew of 2 other guys who had similar situations. My gf wasn't too thrilled at first, but it worked out fine.

She would always make sure dishes were done and floors swept, I maintained her car and computer. Although, while I was occasionally asked to run off certain dirtbag dates of hers, she would cockblock me at parties whenever possible.

Anyway, living with some guys is like living in a barn. Won't be surprised to see this trend continue to grow.

While I'm not against this, I do not really see the point at all. Personally, I'd never be able to live with a chick unless I was involved with her intimately, and even then it probably wouldn't be until I was married or engaged.

In a few decades when you look back on your life, the averages (over all the relationships in your life) are most likely going to indicate that when you are intimate with a woman, you are unable to live with her successfully. ;) Nothing personal, just playing the odds. :p

Probably because she knew you had a girlfriend.

My gf left for Smith and we decided not to do the long distance thing. Said cockblocking occurred at the worst time, when I needed rebound sex. :(
