Awesome Site: How Stuff Works

I stumbled on this awesome site called HowStuffWorks.com. This site covers so many How Does It Work questions, each explained in a very understandable and approachable manner. I had a great time reading about Teleportation and Time Travel last night. I'm not affiliated with this site, I just think the guy who made this site is cool and I really enjoyed the site.

Cool, that's looks to be my next site that I hit all of the time. I'm always wondering how stuff works! I tried to check out a book like this at the library one time and they told me that is was a Library Reference Copy only, meaning that they wouldn't let me check it out.

Again, COOOOOOL!!!

Maybe I'll spend more time there than Anandtech?!?

It is a good site -- I was skeptical at first that the information would be oversimplified and innaccurate. To test I read up on some stuff I was already very familiar with, and much to my suprise they were very concise.

that site is one of the first to actually make decent use of Flash. most sites just use it to do stupid little effects that usually make a site harder to navigate and slower to load. but those Flash animations of for example how an engine works are very easy to understand. there is no better way to get that sort of information across short of actually looking at a real engine.

great site...i'll definately be returning to it.
