this makes me really awe in amazement of how perfect God's universe is and how uniquely special living things really are. it's amazing that so many things can be thrown in motion and work so symbiotically together...

everything means so much to us and our daily life, yet we never really take the time to realize that it is so insignificant in the grand scheme of space and time.

edit: the point of this thread wasn't meant to be religious... it was for everyone to marvel at the shots and take whatever they want from it. i just happened to offer what i took from it.

This is random but it appears that Neptune and Pluto's orbits cross over. Does that mean that one day they are going to crash into eachother? 😕

Seriously though, I never noticed the blue ring that earth orbits on, maybe I'm on the wrong side of the earth to see it? Must go from ocean to ocean or something. Next time I go to europe I'm gonna try and get a pic from the plane.
 
Coldplay did a similar thing on their recent US tour for when they played "The Scientist", only the transitions were seamless. When they got to the city-level zoom, it zoomed into the city they were playing in. It was pretty neat and worked well with the song.

i dont think so

but pluto does come closer to the sun for a period every somanyyears or some such

get celestia or another astronomy program to take a look
