also, can anyone clearly explain why the 3d image appears smaller than the 2 originals? is your brain tricking itself?

How do you "straightening your eyes"? Isnt it already straight??

If anyone wants to find something like this - and for future reference - it is often times easy to google a large quoted block of text to find the original location.

Of course, now I want to see the video.

After you get the middle image formed, though initially it'll be blurry, just keep looking at it and your brain will figure it out in a minute or two.

wow .. got that one pretty quick .. having trouble with the original one. and i can never get the "magic eye" ones.

that's exactly my problem with the "magic eye" ones .. once i start to get it, i blink and then it's gone. :(

I could do those 'magic-eye' ones np, but those involved the opposite of crossing your eyes - moving the focal point farther away from you. I can't do these, never could :(

aww, I can only get it for a second or two
blah, I get the 3D image, but then as soon as it starts to come into focus my eyes twitch, is this thing worth straining my eyes (and brain) this hard for?

GRRRRRR, I can't get it!!!!! Hell with it, I give up.

Now....while you're doing this imagine your significant other walking in with a finger in front of your face with a rotating chick while cross-eyed.

Remember this when the guys in the white coats are coming for you.

seriously, I only have 1 eye. I can't cross it :p

You should still be able to do it with my patented technique. Just blink real fast and look at alternating pictures with each blink. Since you haven't seen 3D in awhile, the effect will probably knock you out of your chair!:p
