Awesome photogallery with tutorials

omg those are beautiful. i wish i could take photos like that or even find places that look like that.

those pics are so clear...is that a result of the camera and lens or what? none of my pics every come out clear like that. i use a nikon d50.

After reading some more you find out that he takes a ton of pictures then stitches them together digitally so what you see is not just one click of the camera.

Read his "techniques" page. It looks like a lot of photoshop skills to get it to look that good. Still impressive nonetheless
 
Wow.

I still don't understand how you overlay some of those pics. Even if you take 2 pics, with different focal points... the blending would be a bitch.

Also, on the waves picture, one that is under exposed and one that is over exposed... how do you take the same pic at the same time. Wouldn't the waves move, making the overlay impossible?
 
Google "photoshop hdr" for tons of info on this.

On a steady tripod, take 5 exposures, then run them through high dynamic range in photoshop or photomatix (sp???)
