It sounds tasty, but to call it a martini is an insult.

BTW, by "Plum Sake," do you mean Gekkeikan?

It's all about:

1oz Green Apple Pucker
1oz Number 10 Gin
1oz Stolichnaya Vodka
.5oz vermouth

sour apple martini

isn't that a cosmopolitan ?

That's cranberry juice and vodka

read his recipe.

splash of guanabana, pineapple juice, lime juice
twist of lemon.

I see no mention of this in the Cosmo recipe consisting of CRANBERRY JUICE AND VODKA. Some bartenders add lime juice.

His two main ingredients, besides saki, are vodka and cranberry juice.

It's basically a modified Cosmo.

It's not a martini, anyways, cause there's no vermouth.

I like drinks that have kaluha and vodka in them, does that mean that they all are modified mudslides?

well:
it is a cosmo...sorry, i mistyped (i wonder why?!?!)

but yeah, that sake brand seems to be the same as the uber-expensive fancy stuff this woman had when we made the drink.

Modified White Russian. If it was kaluha, irish cream, and vodka, it'd be a modified mudslide.

Modified White Russian. If it was kaluha, irish cream, and vodka, it'd be a modified mudslide.

THIS IS MY POINT THEY BOTH HAVE THE SAME INGREDIENTS.

White russian has cream or half and half
Mudslide has irish creme.

I call it a "new wave" martini. If it doesn't have olives and mostly vodka, it's not a true martini.
