The 633960 part number at store's specs are:
"Studio RTA Executive LS Workcenter
-Consists of 2 workstations
-44 1/4"W x 26"D x 30" H
-Glass Work Surface Area: 40"W
-Corner Connector: 26"W x 26"D
-Sllide-Out Keyboard Shelf: 28"W
-CPU Holder: 10"W x 17"D
-Tempered Glass for Safety
-Assembly Required"

If you go Here you will see that the Studio RTA Executive Furniture is on sale 20% off.

Do a search for item number "633960" (the desk). Or click Here PIC/SPECS OF DESK

Now you get the 20% off, ONLY when you get the desk delivered ($20 shipping charge)........still a good deal.

But If you go here you can use the $30 off code(not for furniture but when you call in they should let you use it without any issues), and you can use the "Free CD Alarm Clock Radio w/ $150+ order"...fyi you will need the alarm clock item number "0215080"

You may get the error "The requested products are currently not available online", but my above linky should stop this error...but if you still get it, add the item to your card when you get the chance, this stops the error.

The short of it online.
633960 desk $167.19
0215080 clock $49.99-49.99
Forced $20 shipping, no instore pickup option
And since you are getting the 20% off you can't use a coupon code.
$187.99 + free clock, shipped to your door

The short of it via customer service 800-GO-DEPOT (800-46-3367)
633960 desk $209.99 but they force the $167.19 and let you pick it up in store (saving $20 in shipping charges)
0215080 clock $49.99-49.
And they let you use the $30 off coupon in the above linky.
So it is $147.51 + free clock, shipped to your closest Office Depot...and it is $209.99 + tax and no clock if you buy instore...

Looks good but do you know of any better photos? Kind of small picture on the OD site. I'm tempted as right now I'm using a "butcher block" style kitchen table for a desk and the ergonomics are all wrong.

But they beat the hell out of particle board crap that most people get.

I don't have any issues cleaning mine. Just don't be a slob and get jelly and sticky crap all over it. You'll have just as much trouble cleaning any type of desk if you spill stuff all over it.

One thing I noticed when I was looking for desks is to check around at a bunch of different places, as there can be large discrepencys between stores. I've seen some sell a desk for $250, and then another store will sell the same desk for $100.

How are they a bitch to clean? I have a glass L desk, and love it. Glass is one of the easiest things to clean, especially when it's flat. You can spray some glass cleaner on something, let it soak, and wipe away. Using glass cleaner on glass is no different than using furniture polish on a wood desk.

Nice post, OP, but do you truly know what you're getting? On OD, it says each piece sold seperately. And the OD pic has the corner part greyed out along with the other two optional parts underneath.

It gets funkier still. OD's specs make no sense: 29"H x 70"W x 70"D. Obviously, no desk made for an adult stands but 29" high, that's less than 3 feet tall! So THAT measurement must be the depth, as seconded on the other sites. But also, that desk can't be as wide as it is long, LOL (70" by 70").

The CSN site lists three seperate pieces (remember, OD also says EACH PIECE SOLD SEPERATELY):

56" Desk Dimensions: 30" H x 56" W x 30" D
Computer Desk Dimensions: 30" H x 44" W x 30" D
Corner Connector Dimensions: 30" W x 30" D

Who know WHAT youlre getting @ OD? Come back and let us all know when you pick it on up, k!?

The desk does look nice though-- you get an A for taste and an E for effort.

Im having trouble understanding what you mean by that as im 6'3" and my legs fit fine while sitting at my desk whose desktop height is exactly 29", in fact i believe thats kinda a standard desktop height.

29" is normal for desks.

70"x70" is b/c it's an "L" shaped desk, so each side will be 70" but it's obviously not a full square 70x70...

29" is a good height.
This desk is very sturdy (when constructed correctly)
Find a price on this desk that is in $50 of this price, and you get a free cd clock radio
This is a complete desk, the "each piece sold seperately" is referring to the extra stuff in the pic (printer stand and the sort)

-CPU Holder: 10"W x 17"D
-Tempered Glass for Safety
-Assembly Required"

I had already removed the info in the posts and added them to the first post. So you posting the above is completly pointless...stop trying to up your post count.

This is quite amusing. First you state that no desk made for an adult can be only 29" tall. Then you show what you consider to be the correct dimensions as 30" tall. So are you saying that a 1" difference is such a huge concern? Or are you referring to a 1" shortage somewhere else? :)

I considered this model when looking for an L-shaped/corner desk last month. IIRC it was on sale fairly often. I passed on it; after seeing it in person I wasn't confident it was sturdy enough to support the weight I'd be putting on it (21" CRT).

I got this for $150 out the door last week. Used a coupon I got in the mail.

The desk is really nice too...but the parts don't fit too well at first (the frame "settles").

Show some respect. He was only trying to be helpful.

And if you find a glass desk hard to clean you must be an invalid....it doesnt' get much easier than that.

Um...no one said you did.

Perknose was the one who couldn't grasp the dimensional sizes of this desk.

My wife bought this desk for her office, so here is my review of it.

It may look OK, but it is not very functional. There are no drawers, file storage, or just no storage for all the stuff you need for a desk/computer stand. If you need a place to put paper, pens, disks, CD's, cables, and other stuff you are out of luck.

The glass top is easy to clean, but that is the only thing good about it. The way this thing is constructed prevents most items such as a printer stand, rolling file cabinet, ect. from being placed under the table top due to a stabilizer bar running underneath.

The keyboard drawer is extremely flimsy. It does not lock and constantly moves around when typing or using the mouse. It is not wide enough for a full sized keyboard and mouse pad.

If you are the type of person that likes a perfectly clean table with nothing on it, and no need for any storage for stuff, then this may be OK.

I would rather have a cheap particle board desk and have a piece of glass cut for the top. It would be cheaper and a lot more functional.

I have this desk as well. You need the matching shelving unit for printers/faxes and it becomes a very functional setup. Mine came with a file cabinet/draw unit for pens, etc. It is true the keyboard tray is a bit too narrow, but I easily fit a standard keyboard and mouse on it. As for it being flimsy - you get what you pay for, but for the money it's a good looking desk and lasts a long time. I've had mine for 4-5 years and three moves and it is still looking great. To prevent the 'swaying' you just have to be sure to tighten the side-side x-bracing rods. They provide the lateral support.
