This is a fantastic deal. Onvia just dropped the price of the DeskStar 45 gig 7200 rpm drive to $149.95. That puts it at about exactly the same cost/meg as the Quantum drive we all got in on from Buy.com, but without the rebates to deal with.
And though I was one of Quantum's strongest defenders in the "Deskstar vs. Quantum" debate, even I have to admit that yes, it appears this drive ranks #1 on most rankings. (Though the quantum is a close 2nd dammit!)
