A lot of people really underrate his intelligence and pick on him for his muscles and accent.

If you've read any of his history, the guy has an insane level of motivation. Before he was famous in movies, he was already rich from his construction company that he co-owned with Columbu and his mail-order bodybuilding businesses. He had, arguably, the best physique in the history of bodybuilding, is worth a suggested 800 million dollars, is famous from action movies, married into the Kennedy family (something reportedly to be an original "goal" from his "master plan") and has become the Governator.

I don't think his goals are necessarily the best goals (to each their own), but they were his goals and far from "easy". And for that he gets respect. He has to be the most motivated guy around because he conquers everything (?) he sets out for. He goes beyond idol; the guy is an icon for success.

To be honest, I'd never pick on Arnold. He went from immigrant who could barely speak English to #1 action star in Hollywood and Governor of California - not to mention his involvement with the national physical fitness program. Cheers to him, that guy has cajones and some serious drive.

I wonder how he would do if it was legal for him to become president. I've heard crazy things about how ambitious and focused he was.

Lots (all?) of the clips are from Pumping Iron. Just cut and ordered differently with better soundtrack :D

Also, make sure its the 25th anniversary addition you rent so that you can see the additional interviews and commentary. They wanted to spin Arnold and Ken Waller a certain way to make the documentary more "exciting".

He went from Terminator 3 to that in 3 years? Damn!

Um, no. It's the other way around.

The flabby photos were taken after his heart surgery during recovery (surgery was in 1997). He got back in shape and did Terminator 3 AFTER that.

In fact, he did a LOT of movies after that.

Oh, then the date in the URL is misleading.
