AWDFLASH wont delete!

I just updated my BIOS which went smoothly and now the AWDFLASH.EXE program wont delete from my desktop, it says that it is being used by another person/program. I have restarted several times and checked the task manager but cant figure out whats wrong. Only thing in startup is FRAPS and Soundstorm. Please help me!

try booting into safemode.

Oh yeah forgot to mention that I did safemode already and no luck. I tried to do it in the command prompt in safe mode but dont know what to type, the icon is on my desktop so...

so it would be

Can you cut it and paste it somewhere else and delete it?

No it wont let me move it to another folder. I tried overwriting it with the one on the floppy disk but that didnt work either. I tried the del awdflash.exe command and it wouldnt work but I could still open it through the command prompt

CocumentsandSettings\ChrisZamora\desktop\awdflash.exe - lets me run it
CocumentsandSettings\ChrisZamora\desktop\del awdflash.exe - does nothing, says del is not a valid command

I tried that and typed everything exact as it is in the location of the icon but it says it cant find it. WTF?
