Award WinFlash BIOS flash utility - can I use it on ANY award bios motherboard?

I have a Shuttle AK35GT2 motherboard, and am probably getting a Thorton CPU soon - but I need to update the BIOS. I just realized I don't have any floppy disks around, and I don't want to waste a CD for a boot disc. Is the WinFlash utility a replacement for the DOS DMI Bios flasher? Or do I need to use the original util?
