using MSI's instructions to flast my bios 2.4 to 2.7

i get to the point where it says "programming flast memory - warning: don't turn off power or reset system!"

it does nothing. i've restarted my system a couple of times, still at bios 2.4

help?!?!

nobody? is there a place to download an older biod writer (7.83, perhaps)?

my other PC has been sitting at the "Programming Flash Memory -" stage now for 15 mins...doing nothing!!!
