OMG it is under 20K too msrp, hmm, 15% off, might be my dads next sportster :D

2.0-liter turbocharged Ecotec is making more than 1000 hp in the NHRA's sport compact series, they just smiled. We smiled, too, at the thought of even half, or a quarter of that power in this little car.
^i didnt know that

I really wish they had the Supercharged version to test as well. Rumor has it, it'll be pushing about 220-240hp. I would also like to know if the Curve is going into production or not, I hear yes, I hear no, blah blah.

Keep in mind it is still 18 months away from production, they still have a few things to work on.

Wow, a decent Pontiac that isn't a Toyota or Holden rebadge, who could have thought?

Exactly, Pontiac still has to design some crappy spoilers for the front and back as well as some giant bodyside cladding.

While your at it, why don't you just tell us how sh!tty GM is in general and let everyone know that this car will be crap

I'm glad the Solstice is shaping up nice. I can't wait to see production of it.

That'd be so great...let's say $25,000 for whatever options and the SC eventually...with the GM discount, this car would be cheap. I'll tell my parents to get one so I can visit and drive it. :D

I hope this thing offers good handling and a reasonable level of build quality. It would be nice to have faith, but GM (and Pontiac in particular) has not made that easy in recent years.

GMS BITCH YEA!!!

my family has it also.

vito, this car has basically come out unaltered from its concept design, Lutz wanted it, Lutz got it. there are a TON of other Kappa platform derivitives in concept/pre-production form, the saturn curve, buick valiente (think that is the name). this is the car that bob lutz will NOT let go to sh!t in production form, it will be everything you want it to be in interior cladding etc.

that thing looks sweet! kinda reminds me of a boxster from the back though. Now just need to see a shootout between this and the Dodge Razor, if it ever makes production.

I like it, but I have two gripes:

1) They should have kept the dual exhaust.
2) It needs more power

A SC version could resolve all these problems, give it some boost & a nice ass & I'd be all over it.

I especially like the part about them being over 6' & finding it comfortable.

Still better than the miata in terms of something a guy could be seen in! Too bad they can't take the srt-4 motor and drop it in, then sell it for likr 24k.

If they could get the SRT-4 motor in that it would friggin' rock, unfortunately Daimler-Chrysler != GM.

General Motors Corp. president Gary Cowger is looking to reverse the backslide the automaker took in last year?s study.

So GM is actually getting worse. :Q
