What's sad is that I think you're probably watching this show for your own self-esteem. You feel this need to bash the dialogue and the way people look in order for you to feel better about yourself. Now is it really the show that has the problem? Or you?

BTW, I actually like watching the OC and yes, some things are not accurate, but the adult characters are well defined.

I live in Orange County, where all this supposedly takes place...and these producers / directors have imaginations! They act like stuff is ALWAYS happening down in O.C. but in reality things only happen in certain places...I wish I lived in the O.C. they depict.

Summer is too big of a bitch. I've only watched like 20 minutes of the show. Luckily or unluckily i have no time for tv during the week.

Yeah I some how missed the freakin last episode before the break, so I have no idea why the hell she's in the hospital or what happened to her or anything.
On a side note, Summer was suuuper hot in her hospital outfit tonite though. Plus Ryans from Austin! Go horns!

Edit: the one line i hate the most from "The OC" is
"it's long beach, its pretty hardcore" or something like that, really really inaccurate.

Having never watched the show (adamant refusal), I'm only speculating....but am i the only one who thinks it's kind of ironic that OC is being hyped up so much as being the "cool" place to be when in actuality everyone who lives here knows that it's got to be the most boring area of southern california. It's like LA with all the yuppies but without the excitement. Kind of like the way Dennis Miller describes LA, "only place where people list CAT scans as film credits.."
