I just played the demo of a 3D space action game called Avroch Alliance, after hearing somebody mention it on another gaming forum--I'd never heard of it or the developer. Guess the game just came out. I'll be damned if I had a good time. The game plays like the old Wing Commander/Freespace games only with updated graphics and support for modern controllers. I pulled out the old Saitek Cyborg and it worked fine as did a Logitech gamepad (mouse/keyboard works also).
Anyway, just thought I'd mention it. The demo is around 250MB and lets you fly 4 or so missions. The game could be the solution if you get the itch for some space combat dogfighting.
