AVP Up for pre-purchase on steam

Hmmmm... Well, I thought the original AvP was brilliant, but recreating that atmosphere and resisting the urge to resort to cheap "Doom3" scares will be difficult, I think. However, Rebellion did make Rogue Trooper, which, despite being limited and somewhat consolish, did have some glimmers of humour and some occasional refreshing gameplay.

I agree, the original was good, but looking through their long list of games since, I don't see a single stand out title. Would be great if they pulled this off of course, but I am sure to be giving the demo a thorough play through. Not to mention that I am just sick and tired of multi platform games, especially when they are sequels of PC exclusives.

As long as this game recreates the atmosphere and gameplay of AvP1 it will be great. I just want an up to date AVP thats all.

This is exactly how I feel. I also hope multi-play is great as well.
