Avoiding Asmedia AS1083

As the title says....I pretty much have come to the conclusion that I need to replace my motherboard with something that does *not* use the Asmedia AS1083 PCI(-X) to PCI-E bridge, but still has 3 PCI-E, at least 1 PCI, and ideally would use the Q67 chipset if at all possible. With the embedded Sandy Bridge video, of course. So what are my motherboard options?

Also, do the 32-bit AS1083-derived PCI slots respond differently to PCI-X cards versus plain PCI cards?
