Avoid "First Premier National Bank" credit cards if you can!

Get this, they charge you $178 to activate your card, a $48/year annual fee, a sky high APR, cash advances only once a month, a fee to check your account online, and other fees that i'm too tired to mention. The only reason i opened an account with them was because of my poor credit and i didn't want to have to open up one of those debit-your-account-first credit cards. But i think in the future i'll steer clear of scams like this. 🙁 🙂

I had no credit history and was approved for a $1200 Citibank card 😕

edit: no fees at all, 1% cashback
