Forgive me if this has already been asked (although a quick scan of the recent AVIVO posts didn't reveal anything), but would AVIVO performance increase with Xfire? For example, ATI's marketeers position the X1600XT with 720p content. So would two X1600XT's be able to adequately decode 1080p content (on par with an X1800XL)? According to this Inquirer article, two X1600XT's are on par with an X1800XL in terms of gaming performance. Thus, would you expect Xfire to also accelerate video performance?
 
Okay, do you think Xfire and SLI SHOULD also incorporate some sort of video encoding/decoding performance increase given that you're now dealing with 2 programmable GPU's? For that matter, does SLI make a difference with WMVHD or MPEG2 decoding?
