avivo converting cpu usage 100%?

so i have an x1800xt and wanted to see what the fuss was about when using avivo converter to convert my videos to see if its any faster.

i converted a video to ipod video and it was using 100% of my dual core cpu. it didnt feel like it went by any faster either am i missing something?

The avivo converter has always relied on the cpu to do video encoding.

o i thought it was sopposed to use to video card and make it encode faster

It needs all the cpu power it needs to make it faster.

nope. CPU only. Quality sucks but it's VERY fast...

most convertor software costs money!
