Avira Free v10 - question about updating virus defs.

I just installed v10 on XP Home. I have admin & limited accounts.
When i installed the new version i was logged into my admin account.

Now if i'm logged into the limited account & i try to run a scan nothing appears to happen, but the scan is running if i switch into my admin account.

Same with trying to update the definitions. If i'm logged into the limited account & try to update, nothing happens. I switched into my admin account there's a pop-up saying the download failed.
I'm on dial-up & whenever you switch accounts you lose connection.

I'm i stuck having to do everything from the admin account? Anything i can do to get around this?
Scan aren't so bad but simple daily updates would be much easier from my limited account.

v9 was not like this. I could scan & update from the limited account.

I have no issues with this version on xp using my limited acct.
You may have to uninstall completely, restart and then reinstall.

I figured i wouldn't be able to but i tried installing on my limited account but i needed admin rights to install.
Tried what you suggested & i'm getting the same results as i had before.
