I wouldn't care except that it has a popup and a quick beep-beep-beep, saying it's just blocked the autorun.inf that is on my Western Digital Elements 2TB USB hard drive attached to my desktop. The popup/beeping happens when I access the HD and occasionally it happens out of the blue for no apparent reason. :\ I poked around in Avira (woah, it just happened again, "... blocked for your security" it says on the popup) and I can't see any place I can make an exception for the WD drive's autorun, I'm not exactly suspicious of Western Digital here. I have to click OK to make the Antivir popup go away. Should I just delete that autorun.inf file? I have no idea what it wants to do, really.

I found a solution here:

You have to get into Expert Mode in Configuration of Antivir and you can uncheck Block autorun. It would be nicer and far more granular if I could select the file to make an exception for, but I see no other way. The popups have evidently ceased...
