.AVI to DVD............

I am new to downloading different files and such........I just downloaded a movie in.AVI form. Is it possible to convert that somehow and put it on a disc to use it in my DVD player? I hope this is the correct place t post this.

VideoHelp.com has a great deal of the type of information you're looking for.

Are you looking to burn the video onto a DVD disc or a CD disc? You have several options, the most common one being a VCD. To make a VCD you would convert the .AVI file to a .MPG file and then burn it to a CD.
