Avi to DVD software for Mac?

I'm currently on my netbook and I use VSO ConvertX to DVD to transfer any .avi files I have to a dvd for viewing on my dvd player.

Is there software just like this for a mac? I need to use a friends mac to make a burn and my netbook doesnt have a dvd drive!
 
Burn has the feature, and if nothing else there is Roxio Toast, but that is very not free.
