AVI/DiVX/XViD to Animated Gif? Quick Question

Hey All,

Can someone recommend a good program to help me take a section of an divx/xvid and create an animated gif from it? I have found a few but have run into errors with the 123 avi to gif program and a couple others. Thanks alot! 🙂

You can use Virtualdub to slice out the part of the video you want, and save it as an image sequence.

After that.....
well, a Google search mentioned GIMP Animation Package, which would be open source and free.
