AVG versus Symantec

Maybe it's just me, but when you do a full scan with AVG it tends to freeze your system up. But you get what you pay for. AVG is free, but you need to shell out money for NAV.

I agree. Its less intrusive than NAV. I feel like with NAV its always in your face telling you its doing stuff or keeping an eye on this or whatever because it wants you to think you're getting your money's worth.

It's a matter of preference really. McAffee has improved, but I've always been a "Norton" man, sorta like Coke & Pepsi really.
