Avg shelf life of TIM?

Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts. I suddenly have a need for some TIM and I've just realized the half-used tube of AS5 I have lying around with my supplies is like.... 4 or 5 years old. It should still be good right? I mean the cured version works fine for years under heatsinks around the world...

I've read that the components (oils/solvents vs the "substance") in AS5 can seperate over time but works ok. Anyone anticipate any issues?

Unless it looks separated or dried, AFAIK TIM doesn't have a shelf life.

Depends on the type. All of my stuff has a rated shelf life...and it's best to check the manufacturer's website for the real skinny on the product(s) you own.

I'm on the same tube of AS5 I bought around 2003-2004. I've used it as recently as this year for my i5 and temps are fine.
