AVG detects alleged Trojan Horse in AMD Dual Core Optimizer

Is this a legitimate threat or a false alarm? When I went to boot up this morning an AVG warning popped up saying that the file:

amd_dc_opt.exe (AMD Dual Core Optimizer) was a Trojan Horse.

"Trojan Horse Generic17.CED"

Could some website have overwritten the legitimate AMD file or is AVG just being overly sensitive and misidentifying the legitimate AMD Dual Core Optimizer program as a Trojan? I currently have it locked up in the Virus Vault.

Thanks for the link. I submitted the file to that site and AVG and McAffee are the only ones that raised red flags for it. AVG seems to think it's "Generic17.CED" and McAffee says "Heuristic.BehavesLike.Win32.Backdoor.L"
