AverTV Studio Remote

I recently purchased an AverMedia TV studio card, but the box included no instructions on using/installing the remote. The cables plugged in, and I've checked the readme, installation instructions, and all the options menus in the program.

Anyone have experience with this?

i have avermedia TV. you dont install no remotes. you just gotta hook up the wires correctly so the infrared will get picked up and then it works.
check the wires in the back where you have your remote reciever.

hey, do you guys use that avermedia software with your setups? i was using powervcr2 and i liked it alot better, but i had to reformat and i lost the schedule update patch. tell me somebody has this patch!

I'm sorry to butt-in, but I was wondering if any one of you is using the AverTV board with a Radeon video card. Is it the hardware or software (driver) that is not compatible with the Radeon? AverMedia is giving me little help that end up being conflicting.

Thank you.

I did just as DinoGucci advised - plugged in the remote, installed the latest drivers/patches, but it's still a no-go. I'm not getting any response from the remote. Do I need to return this package?

Do you have an app called QuickTV running at startup and an icon for it in the SysTray? I found out the hard way that this is required for the remote to work.
