$350 in rebates makes it a little iffy. I don't think OD has the best reputation for rebates but it depends on where you send it to. I had a $250 rebate for a BF laptop deal from OD that did come but I was sweating it for a while.

Not to thread crap, but Averatec's support is sub-par, and their out of warranty support is even worse. They do not sell you parts directly, and they require you to mail in the system. Not to mention their markup on OOW parts is astronomical. I was quoted $250-300 for a replacement notebook DVDRW.

Caveat Emptor!

there is an extended battery, but it will cost another $150.00
