Average temperature for P4 2.26????

I have a new P4 2.26 system, and I have been monitoring my average operating temperature with some motherboard software. I have a Thermaltake Dragon heatsink, and I have a really nice Antech case with lots of fans. My average operating temperature when doing "normal" activities (E-mail, Web, Word, etc) is about 37 degrees C. I was wondering how this compared to the average. Anyone know any website with this information????

Thanks,

Jay

The normal including mine are between 30C to 32C idle and 46C to 50C full load. This is with the stock HSF.

This is really mobo specific as many boards seem to vary by under reporting or over reporting temps....

Since 66-70c is likley the point of clock throttling the 37c is very good....You likely load at 47-52c right??? Still very good....

Some guys using ASus mobos are likely getting the 30-32c with a retail fan....Most abit and microstart boards report idles temps in the 40's with retail hsf....

I have a Giga-byte board, and almost every cpu temp monitoring program doesn't work, excep the program that came with the mobo. It reports my 2.26 at 40C idle, and around 43C on load.

When I'am encoding a divx movie I get around 51C load.
This is all according to gigabyte's EZTune4 program.
