Average temp for a p4 2.8c ?

HI All

Can anyone tell me what the temperature of a 2.8c processor should be in a non overclocked setup??

Also, I just built a computer and notice the 12 volt rail is fluctuating between 12.000 and 12.062 is this normal?

I have a 2.8C Ghz and i think when i checked it last the temperature was around 37 - 42 degrees celcius....

[*]~35 to ~45C idle is typical.
[*]The voltage rails will fluctuate and yours looks fine.

Temps under load probably around 50c or lower is fine.

Mine was at 41 degrees and at 300mhz overclocked it was at 44 degress. 1 heatsink & cpu fan and 4 case fans.

My 3.2 runs at around 48c

Actually full load temps that are <65C should be fine. 🙂
