Its fairly new so I would think a price cut wont be coming until early next year.

When the Nexus 7 2014 comes out you should see at least a $50 reduction.

The 16GB is $230.

The 32GB is $270.

I don't know why people are expecting mSD slots in Nexus products when history shows they do not include one.

Nexus 7 2013... price cut will be when there are refurbs. Otherwise for new ones, expect a fall next year when the 2014 version is out.

The list price 16gb will by $199 by November, the 32gb will be $249.

I paid $199 for my 16gb the week they came out. Coupon at Staples.

And Google has said that they don't like them.

I also hate seeing this complaint.

Yup, there will be a lot of those after Christmas. That is when I would probably get one.

Because, Red Storm, they are idiots. Google has been pro-actively trying to phase out microSD. To expect otherwise on a GOOGLE Nexus device is idiocy.

I wouldn't expect discounts anytime soon unless its a refurbished one. Part of the leaks included OfficeMax showing a gross margin of 3.5% which is about 10 dollars. Those coupons worked at the beginning in large part because some retailer jumped the gun and everyone else followed suit.

Those claims are ridiculous. They aren't about the markup on products, which is in the range of 25-50%.

DON'T BUY ONE UNTIL THEY GET THE BUGS WORKED OUT. Many touch and battery issues.

Right now it's a bad purchase at any price.

Not sure about how serious the bugs are and how widespread they are, but there's also no guarantee you will have these issues solved soon considering Google took til 4.3 to deal with the delayed notification bug for wifi on the Nexus 4. That was what... 9 months?
