Average Gaming AMD PCI Express System

I am assembling an average gaming machine. I want it to be an AMD PCI Express system, but I can't decide on the motherboard or video card because of all the paper launches.

Here are the available parts.

Athlon 64 3000+ 90 nm. Socket 939 $179 CDN.
OCZ PC3200 DDR400 512MBx2 CAS 2.5-3-3-7 (OCZ4001024PDC-K) $209 CDN.
Enermax NoiseTaker EG495P-VE 485W $88 CDN.

Unavailable parts

Abit AX8 (VIA K8T890/VT8237)
X800 XL
6800 GT pci-e
Antec P180 Case

Not sure whether to get an Nvidia 6800 GT with an expensive motherboard and the option of SLI or
a cheap motherboard (Abit AX8) and ATI X800 XL.

All my unavailable parts are expected to be available at the end of February, so I'm probably going to buy my system in March.

I want a system that can hit around 100 fps in most games at 4x AA/AF 1280x1024.

What do you guys think of my options or lack there of?
