I'm going to see them here in Atlanta tomorrow and can't wait! I'm just wondering if they tour with an orchestra and boys choir. They sound amazing w/ them backing em up. Reminds me a bit of the Metallica S&M days.

They were giveng away AS ticket for thier Dallas show the other day. I've never seen them live, but they are one of the few new bands out today that I'd really like to see.

I saw them on Saturday. I take it you're seeing them with Coheed and Cambria? Yeah, the lead singer/guitarist of C&C just walked off stage at the end of their second to last song. Something pissed him off, probably all the prepubescent punks throwing ****** up on stage.

But yeah, Avenge Sevenfold was fcuking awesome. Metallica is my favorite band, but Avenge is, IMHO, a much more "musical" heavy band with their dueling guitar parts and whatnot. A very good live set, very loud and in your face. Apparently, it was their first show in our part of the country (NE).

Where are they from, exactly? They had a few Confederate flags but the lead singer didn't sound southern.

EDIT: Forgot to say, no orchestra or choir. Just AS kicking ass. It's also awesome that they come out to the Beetlejuice theme.

Sounds awesome! Yea, I'm seeing them w/ C&C... a band I'm not to big on, but will listen nonetheless. It's just hard for me to picture them touring w/ A7X. Apples and Oranges? LOL. I can deal w/ no symphony but man that would rock so hard b/c some of their songs are so musical. They're from Huntington Beach, CA so that's funny that they have Conf. flags on stage. I'm gettin trashed asap after work today and stayin that way for the concert tomorrow! I love Easter weekend!
