I have an AVC heatsink fan here, theres a sticer that on the side that says "AVC P/N 112270CTH For INTEL PIII 933mhz". Could I use this on a 600duron (not overclocked, and never will be overclocked)?

It has thermal paste already on the bottom covered in a plastic covering.

I think it would work, I wouldn't reccommend using the thermal pad, though. If you have a thermal grease, you should use that instead. You just need to try it. However, if it's designed for intel, it may not be within AMD's specs.

Well it works.

It runs about 6C more then my alpha pal6035. It will probably reach close to the 50's with this fan under heavy load (44C right now).
