if i want to get onto a pre-existing AVAYA wireless network, can i do so with a 11mbit linksys PCMCIA card? or does it HAVE to be AVAYA? anyone help me out?

thanks
david

If it's a WIFI network (AKA 802.11b) then you can probably use any vendor's PCMCIA card. If it's a proprietary kind of wireless network then you need one that's specifically designed for that system.

Check the vendor website and see what protocol they say it uses. If you can't find anything about it or don't understand what they have to say, tell us exactly what model it is and someone will likely know.
