I don't see any avatars when i view a thread. Not sure why, i looked through my profile and didn't see anyway to turn them on. Was wondering how i could fix it and if the problem was on my end.
 
Could you be a little bit more specific, as in browser type, version, and are you getting red X's in place of the avatars, or is your browser stuck on loading them? (IE, stating something like "...downloading 5 images from XXX.anandtech.com")
