I realize that this hardware is quite obsolete, but I need to know if anyone on this board has had any success using an Avatar Shark 250 drive with Windows 2000 via the parallel port interface.
I've had success with parallel port interface of this drive on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4.0, and DOS 6.22, and have used the PCMCIA interface on Windows 95 and 98, but 2000 + parallel interface = headaches.
If I can get this drive to work with 2000, I can finally get rid of my dualboot with win9x/ME for good!
