I see that the function - at least the information that "if you change it you will lose it" for custom avatar is there. For example virge has the old style. Is there a way to import a custom avatar yet or am I missing something?

It's been temporarily disabled. We're going to allow custom avatars sometime in the future, but we'll have some rules posted before we allow it.

I agree that there should be rules, and perhaps a (pre)approval mechanism, if that's possible. But custom avatars are definitely the way of the future 😉
 
wow the new avatars are horrid. hopefully they either get some semi-decent ones, or enable custom ones

BTW: i really miss my cow 🙂
 
btw: i have years worth of trades with AT people, and i save all the html files of the back and forth conversations. which is where i was able to find the .gif of my cow.

so if anyone has an old avatar they are having trouble finding let me know. there is a pretty good chance i have it
 
I found a .gif of the old zombie avatar, but apparently it wouldn't work as a direct upload. So, through a fair amount of effort in MS paint, I have become a zombie once again. Doesn't seem exactly right but it's close enough.

Would be nice if the zombie were a part of the "old school" avatars offered, though. Heck just put em all in there, including the old default avatar.
