Avatar Changes Not Showing Up

I just went to change my avatar using the "User CP" and when the page came up, it was showing a different avatar than the one that is displayed next to my posts. After seeing it, I vaguely remember changing it a long time ago but the change wasn't displayed right away, so I figured it took a bit of time to take effect and just forgot about it.

Well I just changed my avatar (what I was going to do in the first place), and I see that next to my posts it still shows the old image. The User CP shows my new one. Any idea what's going on? I tried clearing my temp Internet files and that didn't fix it.
 
Are you changing your profile picture? Your avatar appears in your User CP in the "Mini Statistics" panel on the right.

^^ this. They are two different things and need to be changed individually.

Ah, that's it. I didn't realize there were two different things; yeah I changed my profile picture and not avatar. Thanks a lot guys!

So the "profile picture" is only on your profile page? Bah, they should just use one picture, lol.
