avast! antivirus - Disable SSL/TSL for Thunderbird?

Everytime I open Thunderbird, I get this popup from avast:



I don't know...shall I really do that in the Thunderbird Account Settings or not?
 
I wouldn't. Secure communication is more important than the minuscule chance of getting a virus through email for me. I'd turn off the email scanning.
