Not much to say, but the Avast 5 non beta has finally arrived.

Available on the Avast web site and file hippo also. I expect it will be on major geeks and elsewhere tomorrow.
 
I too upgraded on my wife's computer that had Avast 4.8. But as a new product, we do not have the indpendent testing yet to shows its all that much better than the prvious version 4.8
