I don't know where to write this, so i hope this is will help...

The AnandTech Avanto channel is down, and has been down since saturdar.
I would be happy if someone could fix this.

Same here ... AT on my Palm is {i}REQUIRED{/i} reading, so I do hope this gets fixed .. ummm .. eventually.
I'm guessing it'll happen when the system rigs edit is working as well !! *snicker*

Otherwise .. lub ya AT .. don't make us go elsewhere, as we have been to the end of the 'net, and it is dreadfully boring.

Sorry to bump an older thread, but add me to the list who would like to see this brought back.

And as long as we're talking about avant-go, I wish the pages were guaranteed to fit your screen. If there's a wide chart or image, then that's fine, but the rest of the text on the page should still wrap to fit your screen. Horizontal scrolling is a nightmare on a PDA.

I did some digging and found that each Avantgo channel is required to pay an amount based on their subscribed users, so that has caused many popular channels (USA Today, ESPN) to flee from Avantgo in a hurry, as paying $8,000 per year per 1,000 subscribers is determined to be financially wasted $$$. Sad to say, but I've removed the AT channel from my device.

Thanks,

I would like to see the Avantgo channel brought back.

BTW This page still mentions the Avantgo channel: http://www.anandtech.com/mobile.aspx .

I set up a RSS channel for AnandTech at Avantgo and it works sorta. I can see the articles. When I click full article I get the first page with all the comments, but can't get to the second and later pages. Is there a RSS feed for the printer (full text on one web page) or has anyone gotten the RSS to work with their Palm with an increased link depth (which does nothing on my setup)?
